I've Still Got It! (Thanks to Bow Tuning)
I've been suffering from a little anxiety over my shooting of late and I believed that deep down I wasn't entirely comfortable with my bow setup.
For a while I hadn't been comfortable that my bow was tuned as well a it could be. So after this mornings archery coaching session I had the range to myself for a couple of hours and I used this time to go back to basics and do some bare shaft tuning. The results were the best 2 hour investment any archer can make.
I thought my experience served as a good reminder that it really pays to go over the tuning of your archery equipment once in a while. Bits move through vibration and use and your bow can easily drift out of tune over a period of time.
I likened this lesson to an orchestra trying to play a symphony with instruments out of tune. It can't be done. The same for archery.
Anyway check out the results. Thats where the proof is.
